Madaleine Nelson is a 27 year old fashion designer from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. She holds a BA in Fashion from Solent University in Southampton, UK. Madaleine’s brand is best described as colourful, flirty, feminine, and country chic, reflecting her belief that great design should feel effortless and unforced.

​Since launching her brand in 2020, Madaleine has been featured in prestigious publications such as British Vogue, Glamour UK, and many others. A passionate textile print designer, she often begins her creative process by crafting unique prints that inspire her designs. Madaleine’s love for fashion started at a young age when she dreamed of creating her own brand. Today, she celebrates femininity, body positivity, and individuality through her work.

In addition to her fashion design career, Madaleine owns Bay & Bloom Boutique in beautiful downtown Cobourg, where she is able to use her fashion and styling expertise firsthand. Her long-term goal is to continue growing her image consulting business, using her boutique as a platform to help clients refine and express their personal style with confidence. When she’s not designing or styling, Madaleine enjoys horseback riding, shopping, and spending time at home with her animals. Five years into her journey, she’s excited to see what the future holds for her growing brand and her image consulting aspirations.

Madaleine is currently taking a step back from active design work to focus on Bay & Bloom Boutique and other creative aspirations. During this time, custom and existing orders will continue to be fulfilled, though clients should expect longer processing times. Madaleine is grateful for the continued support and looks forward to returning to design work in the future.
